About KIPP Northeast Elementary

KIPP Northeast Elementary opened in August 2015 as KIPP Montbello Elementary under the leadership of Founding School Leader Lindsey Lorehn and currently serves 243 students in kindergarten through second grade. We will add one grade each year until we reach capacity in 2018 with 525 students in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade.

What We Do

KIPP Northeast Elementary teaches academic skills, cultivates character growth, and empowers students on their journey to and through college. Our students will leave KIPP Northeast Elementary with the passion, skills, and desire to change the world and be leaders in the Far Northeast Denver community.

KIPP Northeast Elementary is built on the belief that great schools create both excellence and equity. An excellent and equitable education will prepare our students with the passion, skills, and desire to be college graduates and leaders of the Montbello community.

For the 2017-18 school year, KIPP Northeast Elementary will relocate to a brand new campus in Far Northeast Denver. The new campus will also be home to KIPP Northeast Denver Middle School.
