The KIPP Colorado Advisory Board has two levels of membership, Associate members and Steering Committee members. As we continue to grow our network of high-performing charter schools serving educationally underserved communities in Colorado, we need to continue to grow our Advisory Board, in a variety of capacities, in order to increase our impact in the communities we serve.

Associate Membership Requirements

Advisory Board Associate members must demonstrate a passion for improving education and supports the mission and work of KIPP Colorado through a commitment to:

       - Helping raise funds on behalf of KIPP Colorado Schools
       - Participate in KIPP Colorado volunteer opportunities
       - Attend Advisory Board social events and annual fundraiser
       - Leverage professional networks
       - Associate membership starts at $250/year

Steering Committee Membership Requirements

Advisory Board Steering Committee members are committed to leading the work of the Advisory Board. Steering Committee members must demonstrate a passion for education and belief in KIPP Colorado’s mission through a commitment to:

       - Becoming a knowledgeable champion of KIPP Colorado
       - Building a large and diverse professional and social network
       - Attend at least 75% of Advisory Board meetings
       - Join at least one Advisory Board committee
       - Support Advisory Board social events/volunteer activities and attending at least 2 school based events
       - Committing to a fundraising goal of a minimum of $250/year
       - Leveraging additional resources for our schools and students (experiential, in-kind, corporate philanthropy, etc.)

The Advisory Board Steering Committee are the leaders of the Advisory Board. These members are committed to shaping the goals and work of the Advisory Board and influencing Advisory Board decision-making.
